Our Mission
The purpose of the Diamond Hill Historical Society (DHHS) is to preserve and encourage the historical and architectural integrity of the Diamond Hill Historic District through the fostering of education, research and restoration.  The Society's mission is to educate District residents and the broader community in the historical legacy and present-day viability of Diamond Hill as a neighborhood. Toward that preservationist end, the Society's has three main objectives:

Membership Category Requirements  Privileges of Membership  Dues
Active Membership Adult (18 and older) members of households owning property in the Diamond Hill Historic District, who supports the goals of DHHS Attend meetings, speak, make motions, vote, hold office, receive mailings, and participate in the society's activities $5.00 Initiation Fee
$10.00 Annual Dues
Associate Membership Adult (18 and older) who supports the goals of DHHS Attend meetings, speak, receive mailings, and participate in the society's activities $10.00 Annual Dues
No Initiation Fee
Honorary Life Membership Render distinguished service to DHHS, approved by the membership All privileges of active membership No dues.
While most of our Associate Members are historic preservationists or former Diamond Hill residents, this membership category is open to others who are interested and support the goals of DHHS.  

Newsletter subscriptions for non-members are $5.00 per year.

Donations
All donations to the Diamond Hill Historical Society are tax-deductible within the scope of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.   The majority of the operating budget of the Diamond Hill Historical Society is used to maintain the three garden areas in the Diamond Hill Historic District.
