Diamond Hill HistoricaL Society

The purpose of the Diamond Hill Historical Society (DHHS) is to preserve and encourage the historical and architectural integrity of the Diamond Hill Historic District through the fostering of education, research, and restoration. The Society's mission is to educate District residents and the broader community in the historical legacy and present-day viability of Diamond Hill as a neighborhood. Toward that preservationist end, the Society's has three main objectives:

  • To attract historically responsible, community-minded property owners to the Diamond Hill Historic District.

  • To promote the enhancement of the exterior appearance, the maintenance of historical accuracy, and the integrity of use of the buildings and grounds of the Diamond Hill Historic District.

  • To foster awareness of the social, cultural, and architectural history of the Diamond Hill Historic District.
